Nurse Led Clinic
Our services include pathology, wound care including suture / staple removal, vital signs (blood pressure checks), blood glucose testing, medication administration (injections), ECG, telehealth, immunisations, and assessment and management of clinical and emergency presentations.
District Nursing services are available to members of the Lake Bolac and District community. The aim of our service is to work in partnership with clients and carers to identify and attend to each individual’s health needs.
First Line Emergency Response
In the event of a medical or trauma emergency in the community, we will be contacted by Ambulance Victoria to provide an emergency response. This alerts our Remote Area Nurses to provide emergency care (including medications administration) prior to the arrival of paramedics.
Pathology collections services are provided at the Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre from Monday to Friday between 9:00AM and 12:30PM, free of charge. Courier collection by Clinical Labs is also on a daily basis. Patients need to bring a pathology request slip from their doctor.
