Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre is funded by the Victorian Government to provide a broad range of health care services, helping the community to access care locally and stay in their homes longer.
Services include clinical assessment and management of acute medical presentations; District Nursing; first line emergency response in partnership with Ambulance Victoria; palliative care; post-acute care for people discharged from hospital; wound care; hospital in the home; and immunisations.
The Centre has a partnership with East Grampians Health Service with weekly visiting Allied Health clinics providing accessible primary health care to a community that would otherwise need to travel fifty kilometres to Ararat.
