Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre is funded by the Victorian Government to provide a broad range of health care services, helping the community to access care locally and stay in their homes longer.

Services include clinical assessment and management of acute medical presentations; District Nursing; first line emergency response in partnership with Ambulance Victoria; palliative care; post-acute care for people discharged from hospital; wound care; hospital in the home; and immunisations.

The Centre has a partnership with East Grampians Health Service with weekly visiting Allied Health clinics providing accessible primary health care to a community that would otherwise need to travel fifty kilometres to Ararat.

We at the Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Djab Wurrung people, on which our Centre operates, and pay our respects to their Elders – past, present and emerging.

LBBNC celebrates the continuing culture of the Djab Wurrung people and recognises and values the contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make in our society.
